About

Hi there, I'm Amy.  I'm have a Master's of Science in Biochemistry, but in my increasingly limited spare time, I experiment with crafts, cooking, gardening and bees.  I have been knitting forever, gardening for a year, and am a beekeeping apprentice.  I just started a batch of kombucha and recently figured out how to make marshmallows.  As you can see, my interests are pretty diverse, so this blog will be, too.

I kept a blog last year about a brief attempt at a knitting project.  I wanted to knit a tiny pair of baby socks every day for a year, but only lasted six months.  I learned in that time that I start to hate my hobbies if I feel obligated to do them.  I passed the next six months without picking up yarn or knitting needles.  You can read about the tiny socks here: Science of Sewing

Thanks for stopping by and reading.  If you like what you see, subscribe!
